Fasten your seat beats, Dehli, India awaits!

You’re about to land  in Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. Hold your seats tight, because it will be your bumpiest journey but probably you’re best. If you have trust, switch it off and put it inside your pocket since it’s the last thing you’d want to take your chances in here. I also guarantee, when you will be flying back you will be in love with this city. Therefore, Welcome to Delhi, the ‘must visit’ place inIndia. It has a tiny chaotic version of India in itself. It does not matter what kind of person you are, Delhi has a special place for all you. Peace is something you cannot relate to this city. But if you wish to see real India, this is your stop.

Its hard to understand this city, if the noisy busy streets of Chandni Chowk (Old Delhi) irritates you then “GUCCI MAMA” attitude of Vasant Kunj will shock you. Every aspect of the city, will say something about India. You might come across a con man, but if you’re lucky you might come across God! Forget the boring typical city tours, fetch a map and get out and explore. If you’re a shopper s tart with some cheap deals, at Sarojini Nagar and follow the rest. If you’re a photographer at heart, then Old Delhi is the place for you to be filled with overcrowded street, tiny houses, narrow lanes and noisy housewives. But if you could overlook them you could capture a life of a happy noisy huge middle class household. That’s real India.

If you’re a passionate eater, we’re a passionate cook! Every corner of India has mouth watering food, but if you want all of them together on your plate-Delhi is your place. Kebabs, chaats, momo’s, dosa’s, tandoors, fishes you name it we have it. Take a quick tour around the town, and visit the nearby tourist spots like – AkshayDham, Red fort, Lotus temple, Jantar Mantar etc.

If you’re a forest traveler, then give all this a  miss and head out for Corbett National Park. A tiger park in natural habitat, and so far the liveliest forest I’ve visited. The wildlife inside the forest is worth spending a night with. There are big chances of spotting a tiger in their early morning and late evening safari’s inside the core area of the forest. Its around 234km away from the main city, and should roughly take 5 hours.

If you’re the  one who likes to visit the past, then 5hrs down the highway we have a place for you- Jaipur, the pink city ofIndia. Peep into the magnificent palaces and the history of this city which ages back to the Rajput dynasties. It will give you a good chance to revisit your history book .

But if  you are the adventure seeker , then pack your back pack hire a mountain bike, and set out for a long ride to the ranges of Himalayas. The hilly regions of Kufri will not only give you an adventure experience but also make you fall in love with the immense beauty of a sunset at theHimalayas. Like I promised am sure you’re already in love with this place but just when you think you’ve known enough about this place, it will surprise you with a whole new side.

Delhi, I call it the ‘heart’ of India.
