Help FemmeFACTION Write A Guide About Their Motorcycle Tour Across Southeast Asia!

Ever thought that doing a motorcycle tour across Southeast Asia would be a great idea? Samantha and Yelena of FemmeFaction think so too, and they want to share their experience with other would-be travelers.

These girls are fun and adventurous and they need your help to fund this project. They’ve started a Kickstarter page where you can learn more details about the FemmeFACTION and donate to the cause.

Samantha Writes:

Be honest with yourself — how many hours at work do you spend looking at grumpy cat pictures? Have you perfected the art of jobsleeping? Maybe it’s time to wrap things up at work, put the mundanities of your life on hold and pick yourself up by your bootstraps. Well, we’re here to help. We know that you’re not going to settle for a 5 day cruise vacation playing bocce ball and pretending that an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet is your dream come holiday. Stop stressing yourself out about being stressed out! We want to write a guide for women who want to take a break from life and have an adventure on motorcycles around Southeast Asia.

We know that women face unique challenges while traveling and we are here to help. Through short tutorial videos you’ll learn how to stay safe and a variety of other helpful tips for (female) riders.

Our guide will make you feel empowered to jump on a motorcycle, and you’ll see that riding around Southeast Asia is entirely possible — for just about anyone. You can take a week, or a month, or a year. You can learn how to buy a bike, grab your helmet and ride off into the sunset (and do your own repairs along the way should the need arise).

The guide will cover everything from packing your bag to route planning, to picking and purchasing your motorcycle, repairs,lodging, safety, as well as activities, art, culture, food, and stories about people they meet along the way. I know these girls personally, and they are awesome. They got the gusto to pull this thing off and do a really kickass job at it.
